Job Description
We are currently looking for a Housekeeper. You will be working in Swindon. This is looking to start ASAP.
Monday - Friday
37 hours per week
Temp Contract - Ongoing
Pay rate - 13.05ph paye
Job Purpose
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across council buildings, including offices, communal areas, toilets, and public spaces
- Carry out routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing surfaces
- Clean and disinfect high-touch areas (e.g. door handles, desks, handrails) to meet health and safety standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste in line with council recycling and waste procedures
- Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and cleaning materials
- Perform deep cleaning tasks when required, including carpets, upholstery, kitchens, and washrooms
- Clean internal glass, windows, and surfaces, removing marks and maintaining presentation standards
