Description
Our client is going through an exciting period of change with extensive growth plans. They are looking for an experienced Operations Project Manager to design and deliver a programme of change, to include:
- The relocation of manufacturing and distribution operations from one site to others
- Optimisation of site operations and layouts
- Coordination of all workstreams, including manufacturing, distribution, systems and people
- Hands on role, devising the strategy and making the change happen
- Apply lean manufacturing principles to ensure optimum success of the change
- Act as the operational lead on the project, working with multiple workstream leads including IT and HR
- Manage all Health & Safety related risk
Profile
This Operations Project Manager role requires an experienced hands-on Operations Manager or Director with extensive experience of Project Management, with:
- Proven experience in site consolidation and relocation
- Strong industrial manufacturing and distribution background
- Experience of the full project lifecycle and working across multiple workstreams
- Experience with ERP systems
- Lean Manufacturing, ideally with a relevant qualification
- Ability to work autonomously and at pace
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- Ability to start this role on short notice and commit to 12-18 months and beyond, ideally based in the Midlands region
