Location: London (Hybrid - 3 days in the office, 2 from home)
A well-established US law firm is seeking an experienced Conflicts Analyst to join its London office. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to work within a market-leading international law firm, supporting risk management and compliance across a complex global practice.
The RoleWorking as part of the Conflicts team, the Conflicts Analyst will play a key role in identifying, analysing, and resolving conflicts of interest in line with firm policies and regulatory requirements. The role involves close collaboration with partners, associates, and business services teams across jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct conflicts checks for new matters, new clients, and lateral hires using internal systems and databases
- Analyse potential legal, commercial, and ethical conflicts and escalate issues where appropriate
- Prepare clear and concise conflicts reports and recommendations for lawyers and senior stakeholders
- Support ongoing improvements to conflicts processes and risk management procedures
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in a conflicts, risk, compliance, or related role within a law firm
- Ability to interpret and apply conflicts rules and firm policies
- Confident communicator, able to liaise effectively with senior lawyers and stakeholders
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Familiarity with Intapp, other conflicts databases and matter management systems is desirable
