I'm working with a well-established and fast-growing infrastructure contractor delivering a wide range of civil engineering and utility projects across the UK. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they're looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their commercial team.

The Role
You'll take commercial responsibility for civil engineering schemes from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with operational teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and profitably.
Key Responsibilities
Full commercial management of projects including cost control, forecasting and reporting
Preparation of CVRs and cost-to-complete forecasts
Management and administration of subcontractor packages
Valuations, variations and change management
Contract administration (typically NEC) including Early Warnings and Compensation Events
Liaison with clients and internal stakeholders to drive commercial performance
Supporting junior members of the commercial team where required
Requirements
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or utilities
Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts
Experience managing projects through the full lifecycle
Confident in cost reporting and commercial management
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
