We are currently recruiting for a experienced Counterbalance Driver to join a well established and busy warehousing team based in Bury St Edmunds. The successful candidate will be confident working as part of a team to ensure the smooth movement of goods throughout the warehouse and yard areas.

Working hours would be Sunday to Thursday 22:00-0600

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts to move stock, around the warehouse area, on/off the racking
• Load and unload goods from lorries in a safe and efficient manner
• Ensure proper stacking and storage of goods to prevent damage or contamination
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working conditions
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations
• Maintain accurate records of stock movements and inventory levels
• Assist with general warehouse duties, such as packing, labelling, and cleaning, as required

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid forklift operator certification/license - Counterbalance
• Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills
