Description
Legal Cashier responsibilities:
- Process client and office account payments, including receipts and disbursements
- Reconcile bank accounts and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Handle billing processes and maintain up-to-date financial records
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements
- Manage client and supplier queries related to financial transactions
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting processes
- Support the accounts team in maintaining accurate financial systems and controls
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Profile
A successful Legal Cashier should have:
- A strong understanding of accounting and finance principles
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial data management.
- Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements, such as SAR
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
