Duties Safely operate a 7.5-tonne lorry for scheduled deliveries and collections Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment, ensuring the integrity of cargo during transit Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery deadlines while adhering to road safety regulations Conduct daily vehicle checks, Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon receipt Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered Ensure compliance with all relevant driving legislation and company policies at all times Requirements Valid HGV 7.5T licence with a clean driving record (maximum 3 points) Proven experience as a commercial driver, particularly with side curtain vehicles and delivery routes Familiarity with road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving Experience with loading and securing cargo.
