Job Description

Reed Finance are supporting our client to appoint a Financial Accountant. This role is a key role to support the Financial Controller with key areas consolidation, intercompany accounting, and statutory reporting.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead consolidation and intercompany reporting across multiple entities.
  • Coordinate financial data submissions across operations, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Support and train accounting staff on operational and overhead accounting processes.
  • Compile supplementary financial reports.
  • Review and provide oversight of financial processes including bank accounts, fixed assets, rentals, and other balance sheet areas.
  • Manage the end-to-end process for annual statutory accounts and regulatory reporting.
  • Ensure all financial transactions comply with IFRS and are recorded accurately and on time.
  • Identify financial risks or issues and escalate or resolve them appropriately.

Knowledge & Technical Experience

  • In-depth knowledge of financial accounting reporting standards
  • Experience with financial systems such as ERP and reporting/consolidation tools
  • Understanding of statutory reporting requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
