Finance Manager

CMA Recruitment Group is working with a well-established and growing service business based just outside Winchester, Hampshire to recruit a Finance Manager.

This is a broad, hands-on opportunity, suited to an experienced Finance Manager who enjoys being close to the detail while also improving how a finance function operates.

Working as part of a small and collaborative finance team of four, the role will take ownership of day-to-day finance operations across multiple entities, while helping to strengthen controls, streamline processes.

What will the Finance Manager role involve?

• Producing and supporting monthly management accounts, budgets and year-end reporting
• Providing commercial insight to the wider business, including performance analysis and contract reviews
• Reviewing existing finance processes and proactively identifying opportunities to improve systems, controls and reporting
• Supporting cashflow forecasting, aged debt management and working capital reporting
• Maintaining the fixed asset register and posting asset movements

What will the Finance Manager bring to the role?

• Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar hands-on finance role
• Strong all-round accounting knowledge, ideally from a multi-entity or service-based environment
• Confidence managing both transactional finance and management reporting
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with non-finance stakeholders
