Production Operative

Our client are a leading supplier of aluminium and magnesium castings for the aerospace and defence industries. They are looking for a hard working and conscientious individual to join their Foundry team

With vacancies in the Moulding team you will learn how to:

• Fill pattern boxes with foundry sand.
• Quality check moulds
• Assemble moulds and cores ready for the metal pour
• Use hand and air tools to remove any rough surfaces from moulds.

You will need:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• The abiity to safely and accurately use hand and air tools
• A degree of physical fitness as the roles involve periods of standing and manual handling

Hours of work

Monday-Thursday 7.30-16.00 and Friday 7.30-13.30. 38 hours a week
