Description

  • Provide advice and guidance on employee relations matters, including grievance and disciplinary issues.
  • Support the implementation and review of HR policies and procedures in line with best practices.
  • Assist in recruitment processes, from job advertisement through to onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR systems.
  • Collaborate with managers to identify training and development needs.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and organisational policies.
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives to support organisational goals.
  • Provide general HR administrative support as required.

Profile

A successful HR Advisor should have:

  • A recognised qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Previous experience in HR, ideally within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • A proactive and organised approach to managing multiple tasks.
  • Ability to commute to Chorley.
