Facilities Electrician
Harrogate & North Yorkshire
Up to 38,500 + 2,500 on-call + bonus + overtime
Days only

This is a varied, hands-on role working across a large commercial site in Harrogate as well as other local sites across North Yorkshire.



The Role

You will be responsible for a mix of planned maintenance, reactive repairs, and project work, including:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
  • Fault finding and repair across:
    • HVAC systems
    • Emergency lighting
    • Controls and general lighting systems
    • Water hygiene systems
  • Maintenance and testing of fire systems including alarms and sprinklers
  • Supporting and leading mechanical and electrical project work
  • Electrical installation tasks
  • General building and site maintenance duties
  • Providing out-of-hours cover on a rota basis

About you:

  • Min NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
  • 18th Edition
  • Experience in facilities, commercial or industrial environments
  • Strong fault-finding and organisational skills
  • Experience within commercial, industrial or facilities environments
  • Background in FM, construction or property maintenance
  • Confident with PPM systems and job management systems
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise workload
  • Good IT skills
