Customer Service Advisor - Logistics Industry - Sittingbourne
Reed Business Support are recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor on behalf of our valued client, based in Sittingbourne. This Customer Service Advisor opportunity is ideal for an individual who is confident, proactive, and able to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment. As the appointed Customer Service Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the wider team and contributing to the smooth running of daily operations.
About the RoleThis role focuses on delivering a high standard of customer service within a logistics and distribution environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Handling customer enquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner
- Acting as a key liaison between customers, warehouse teams, and transport providers
- Processing orders, tracking deliveries, and resolving service issues
- Maintaining accurate customer records and updating internal systems
- Supporting service level reporting and daily operational queries
- Ensuring customers receive a consistently positive experience
About You- Previous experience in a customer service or call-handling role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Calm, professional, and customer-focused approach
- Confident using Microsoft Office and internal booking or CRM systems
- Able to prioritise workload effectively in a fast-moving environment
Salary & Working Pattern- Salary: £25,500 - £26,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
- Fully office-based
- Candidates must have the Right to Work in the UK
