Yard Operative

The role operates on standard daytime hours, based on a 40-hour working week, with an early finish on Fridays. A permanent position is offered upon successful completion of the probation period. The company is experiencing significant growth and has full order books for the rest of the year.

Yard Operative required for a company based in the Warrington area.

Duties of the Yard Operative role:

• Receiving vehicle deliveries and checking for damage or missing vehicles
• Recording vehicle condition and details using Vehicle Condition forms
• Moving and storing vehicles safely within designated yard areas
• Preparing vehicles for customer collections in line with schedules
• Checking vehicles prior to collection and completing relevant paperwork
• Labelling and securing vehicle keys correctly in secure storage
• Maintaining accurate records and paperwork
• Keeping yard and working areas clean, tidy and safe
• Supporting additional depot duties as required
