Marketing Assistant

Location: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire

Salary Range: £28,000 to £32,000 dependent on experience

Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a proactive and creative Marketing Assistant to support our national and international sales and marketing activities. Working closely with the Sales & Marketing Team and all other teams in the business, you will support the planning and delivery of a range of marketing activities designed to increase brand awareness, generate leads and support business growth.

This is a varied role that will suit someone who enjoys being hands-on, organised and creative.

• Assist with the creation and scheduling of content across social media channels.
• Support the development of marketing campaigns, both digital and traditional.
• Create marketing materials including brochures, presentations, email campaigns and promotional literature.
• Maintain and update website content.
• Assist with the organisation and coordination of exhibitions, conferences and industry events.
• Support the production of case studies, customer stories and product-related content.
• Monitor and report on marketing activity performance and campaign effectiveness.
• Manage marketing databases and CRM records.
• Coordinate branded merchandise and marketing collateral.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure marketing activity supports business objectives.

In order to be successful you are likely to have at minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, eager to learn and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.

You will need to be able to demonstrate the following:

• Marketing qualification, degree or equivalent experience would be advantageous.
• Previous experience in a marketing, communications or business support role will be a distinct advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation.
• Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of website content management systems would be advantageous.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
