Machine Operator required. 18.90 per hour, three-day weekends, 33 days holiday, and a 10% pension scheme are just a few of the benefits available with this growing engineering manufacturer in Leeds.
Due to continued growth, this well-established manufacturer is looking to recruit additional Machine Operators to support final assembly and production operations within a state-of-the-art facility. This is a long-term opportunity offering stability, overtime, and progression.
The Machine Operator role will involve:
Setting up and operating a range of production machinery to manufacture components to engineering drawings and specifications
Reading and interpreting technical documentation, job sheets, and production instructions
Adjusting and programming machinery using set-up data and technical information
Operating cutting, forming, and fabrication equipment
Measuring, checking, and recording dimensional and quality data throughout production
Handling, moving, and preparing completed components using appropriate lifting equipment where required
In return, the Machine Operator will receive:
32,450 annual salary including shift allowance
Overtime paid at premium rates
33 days holiday
10% combined pension contribution
Paid breaks and additional company benefits
Machine Operator Requirements:
Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience
Ability to read engineering drawings
Engineering or production background preferred
Experience with lifting equipment or fabrication processes beneficial
Working Hours for the Machine Operator:
Week 1: Monday to Friday - 06:00 to 14:00
Week 2: Monday to Thursday - 13:00 to 22:00
Based in Pudsey, the role is commutable from Bradford, Halifax, Huddersfield, Wakefield, and surrounding areas.
