Description

The key responsibilities of the Part-time Assistant Accountant include:

Preparation of weekly reporting including:

• Profit analysis
• Revenue tracking
• Cost performance insights

Supporting the month-end process, including:

• Overheads review
• Prepayments & accruals
• Maintaining and managing the fixed asset register
• Completing balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting in delivering accurate and timely financial information to support business decisions

Profile

A successful Part Time Assistant Accountant should have:

• Previous experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably within the Media & Agency industry.
• A recognised accounting qualification or progress towards one.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
• Good communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Offer

• Competitive salary ranging from 30,000 to 32,500 (pro-rata for part-time).
• 32,500 full-time equivalent salary + a performance bonus.
• 25 days of holiday (full-time equivalent), increasing to 26 days after one year.
