Job Description

This is a newly created Head of Finance role reporting to the CEO, leading the build-out of a standalone finance function following a carve-out. You'll oversee UK and France operations, driving reporting, controls, and system transformation in a high-growth, cross-border environment.

Description

  • Oversee and manage all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.
  • Lead the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on financial goals.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks to safeguard the organisation's assets.
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage and mentor the finance team to enhance performance and development.

Profile

A successful Head of Finance should have:

  • A strong background in accounting and finance, ideally within the FMCG industry.
  • Professional qualifications in finance or accounting (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Proven expertise in financial planning, reporting, and analysis.
  • Experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Solid understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
