About the Role

We are working with a leading international construction consultancy to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing London team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of high-profile residential and hotel projects across London and the wider UK, providing expert cost management and commercial advice from feasibility through to final account.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services across residential and hotel sector projects
  • Prepare detailed cost plans, estimates, and feasibility studies at various RIBA stages
  • Manage the procurement process, including preparation of tender documentation and analysis of returns
  • Administer contracts and manage variations in accordance with standard forms of contract (JCT, NEC)
  • Prepare and agree interim valuations, final accounts, and cash flow forecasts
  • Provide commercial risk management advice and value engineering support
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, architects, and other project stakeholders
  • Contribute to business development activities and client relationship management
  • Mentor and support junior members of the team


Requirements

  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
  • MRICS qualified or working towards RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC)
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a consultancy or client-side environment
  • Demonstrable experience working on residential and/or hotel/hospitality projects
  • Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract, including JCT and NEC
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High degree of commercial awareness and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in cost management software (e.g. CostX, Causeway, or similar)
