Join a leading independent technology and services provider as a VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Consultant/Specialist Engineer
Location: Hybrid - London (Blackfriars), Hatfield + UK client sites
Duration: Initial [6-12 months] + strong extension pipeline
Start: ASAP
Clearance: SC Cleared or eligible
Key Requirements
We're working with a leading global IT services provider, who are significantly scaling their VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) capabilities.This is not a BAU role, you'll be delivering project-based VCF solutions across multiple enterprise clients, supporting large-scale cloud and infrastructure transformation programmes.With a strong pipeline of work already secured, this offers long-term contract stability, exposure to cutting-edge VCF9 environments, and the opportunity to work across multiple enterprise landscapes.
Key Responsibility
- Leading and supporting VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) deployments, upgrades, and optimisation
- Delivering end-to-end project life cycle work across enterprise clients
- Driving automation and modernisation using current tooling
- Working within engineering teams on customer-facing engagements
- Contributing to cloud transformation initiatives across multiple environments
What We're Looking For Essential
- Strong hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF 5.x or VCF9)
- VCP-VCF certified (or actively working towards VCF9 certification)
- Proven experience delivering VMware solutions in enterprise environments
- Strong stakeholder communication and client-facing delivery capability
Desirable
- Experience with automation tooling and infrastructure Scripting
- Exposure to multi-client consultancy/project environments
