What does the training look like?
The programme is structured to help you grow in confidence and ability:
4 days in school - gaining hands-on experience
1 day per week - PGCE study and professional development
Term 1: Observe experienced teachers and support lessons to learn the fundamentals
Term 2: Begin planning and delivering your own lessons
Term 3: Take on more responsibility and refine your teaching style
You'll be supported throughout the process with a dedicated mentor, ongoing feedback and a structured training programme.
Who are we looking for?
Graduates with a Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology or related) degree (2:1 or above preferred)
Strong A-Levels in Science/Maths
Interest in working with young people
Confident communicators
No prior classroom experience is required - just commitment and enthusiasm.
