Job Description

Are you an organised and proactive administrator with excellent customer service skills? We are seeking a Fleet Administrator to join our busy team in Dunstable, supporting the day-to-day operation of our fleet department.

An office-based role, the working hours are Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with administration experience and fleet knowledge who enjoys working in a varied role and is confident managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with vehicle breakdown calls and providing support to drivers
  • Raising purchase orders and processing invoices
  • Managing vehicle taxation requirements
  • Producing and monitoring credit card reports
  • Supporting the daily operation of the fleet function
  • Maintaining accurate records and databases
  • Undertaking general administrative duties as required

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Previous administration experience, ideally within a fleet or transport environment
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Confident PC user with excellent attention to detail
  • Professional and friendly telephone manner
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and work independently
  • Highly organised with a proactive approach to problem-solving

  • Due to the location of the office and limited public transport links, applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own transport.
