We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Cook to join a popular and well-established upmarket café-style venue located near Billericay.

Known for its excellent reputation and high-quality fresh food, this busy daytime operation offers a welcoming and friendly working environment. This is an ideal opportunity for someone seeking regular part-time hours with the flexibility to increase their earnings through additional shifts covering staff holidays.

Hours

• 16 hours per week
• Monday and Saturday
• 7.30am - 3.30pm
• Additional hours available to cover holidays and busy periods

The Role

As Part-Time Cook, you will:

• Prepare and cook fresh, high-quality dishes to a consistently high standard.
• Work as part of a small and friendly team.
• Ensure excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
• Assist with stock control and daily preparation.
• Maintain high standards of presentation and customer satisfaction.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as a Cook, Café Cook, Breakfast Chef or Chef de Partie within a fresh food environment.
• A passion for quality ingredients and freshly prepared food.
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently.
• A positive attitude and strong team ethic.
• Flexibility to provide additional cover during staff holidays would be advantageous.
