Warehouse Operator (Reach FLT Driver)
REACH FORKLIFT LICENCE ONLY
Location: UB8 LondonJob Type: Full-Time - Immediate Start AvailableHours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm (47.5 hours per week)- Some Saturday mornings overtime will be required.Salary: £33,123 per annum - Starting ASAP.
About the Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operator (Reach Forklift Truck Driver) to join a busy storage facility based in UB8. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position with an ASAP start, suited to someone who can thrive in a high-volume warehouse environment and maintain excellent operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- General warehouse duties including goods-in and goods-out
- Operating Reach Forklift Trucks to safely load, unload, and move containers
- Picking, locating, and handling stored items efficiently
- Managing and processing warehouse bookings
- Liaising with customers via phone, email, and face-to-face
- Ensuring all container requests are actioned within set timeframes
- Supporting the Warehouse Manager with daily operations
- Using internal systems to process movements (full training provided)
- Maintaining accurate records for stock and crate usage
- Keeping equipment clean, safe, and operational
- Ensuring a clean, organised, and compliant warehouse environment
- Actively contributing to improving productivity and output
Requirements
Essential:
- Full, clean driving licence
- Valid Reach Forklift Truck licence (Counterbalance desirable)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Positive, team-focused attitude
- Physically capable of lifting up to 25kg
- Flexible approach to working hours if required
