Reporting to the Client Growth Manager, the Business Development Executive will focus on driving revenue growth through qualifying and converting leads from various channels for one of our technical solutions. This role is suitable for someone who has some exposure to a sales-based role but we are also open to recent school or Uni leavers who think Tech Sales is the career for them!This role is primarily home based but monthly travel to Newcastle and quarterly travel to London is required. Key Responsibilities Own the full sales cycle for new customers Qualify inbound leads, contacting potential customers to identify needs and pain points Consult with clients, tailoring Davies Technical Solutions to fit client requirements Build and nurture a strong pipeline of opportunities, managing multiple opportunities at any one time Perform product demonstrations, and negotiate pricing Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, opportunities, and agreements. Generate enthusiasm and commitment to business goals and client success. Work with marketing and other teams to support high quality lead generation Skills, Knowledge & Expertise A genuine desire to work in business development and sales is an absolute must! Previous work experience in a sales environment may be advantageous but is not essential. Confident communication skills Someone commercially-minded; focus on revenue growth and client value, valuable Experience or interest in tech and data-driven solutions. Proactive, tenacious and driven Curious, ambitious, and eager to learn and grow.
