SEN Support Worker - Complex & Medical Needs (PMLD) - Specialist Academy, Greenwich SE London

Tempest Resourcing is recruiting experienced complex needs support staff for a specialist secondary academy (11-19) in Greenwich serving students with complex, low-incidence needs - including PMLD, significant physical disabilities and medical needs.

With therapy and nursing teams based on site, this school offers a rare environment where support staff from health and social care backgrounds see their skills fully valued and developed within education.

The role involves:

• Supporting students with complex physical, medical, sensory and communication needs
• Personal care, moving and handling, positioning, and supporting feeding programmes
• Working directly alongside on-site nurses and therapists to deliver care plans
• Supporting communication through AAC and assistive technology - expert training provided

We're looking for:

• Experience with complex needs, PMLD or medical care from education, health or social care settings
• Moving and handling, Makaton, or clinical care experience an advantage (training available)
• A calm, dignified, person-centred approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
