In this role, you will support the maintenance and continuous improvement of regulatory, COSHH, and technical information systems by accurately organising and transferring chemical, ingredient, and safety information into a centralised database. You'll work with a variety of technical documents, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Certificates of Analysis (COA), ensuring information is accurate, consistent, and easily accessible for colleagues across the business. You'll play an important role in supporting compliance, improving internal processes, and helping to ensure laboratory activities are carried out safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Accurately transfer and maintain COSHH, chemical, ingredient, and material data within company databases. Review and extract key information from Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Certificates of Analysis (COA), and other technical documentation. Ensure laboratory teams have access to accurate ingredient and material information to support COSHH assessments and risk assessments. Assist with the organisation and maintenance of technical records and documentation. Support process improvement initiatives by helping develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, checklists, and process flowcharts. Developing the ability to identify missing or inconsistent data and work with technical teams to resolve discrepancies. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when handling technical information. Support continuous improvement projects across Innovation Services. Work collaboratively with colleagues across Quality, Regulatory, Technical, and Innovation department. About You We're looking for someone who is organised, analytical, and enjoys working with structured information. Previous experience in a laboratory or technical environment is desirable. Skills & Experience An interest in chemistry, materials science, engineering, laboratory environments, or technical administration. Basic understanding of, or willingness to learn, COSHH principles and chemical safety. Ability to interpret and work with technical documentation following structured guidance.
