Rate: 20.00 per hour
Hours: 32 hours per week (8-hour days) Mon- Thursday

Site Administrator - Build Your Career on a Major Infrastructure Project
We are currently recruiting for a Site Administrator to support a long-term infrastructure project based at SSE Alyth Substation in Perthshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and motivated individual looking to gain valuable experience within a project environment. You'll play a key role in supporting the site team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day administration of the project while working alongside experienced industry professionals.
Full training and ongoing support will be provided, making this an ideal role for someone who is eager to learn, develop new skills, and build a career within the construction, engineering, or project management sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the EC CPM, your responsibilities will include:
Project Support & Reporting
- Maintaining project progress and tracking tools
- Assisting with task tracking and variance analysis
- Coordinating resource and equipment schedules
- Supporting the maintenance of the project risk register alongside the Site Manager
- Monitoring and recording project changes and delays
- Preparing and processing timesheets and project data
- Tracking purchase orders and supporting invoice approval processes
- Managing document control, including drawings, logs, and project records
- Maintaining accurate records of site assets and plant equipment
General Site Administration
- Taking accurate and professional meeting minutes
- Maintaining organised project files and documentation
- Providing administrative support to the wider site team
- Assisting with general office and site administration duties as required
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Has strong administrative and communication skills
- Is confident using Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Can manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Works well both independently and as part of a team
- Has a proactive and positive attitude
Desirable:
- Previous experience within a construction, engineering or project environment
- Knowledge of SAP (advantageous but not essential)
