Supply Chain Planner
We are currently partnering with a fast-paced and growing organisation to recruit a Supply Chain planner. This role will take ownership of the end-to-end fulfilment process across a designated supplier category, ensuring supplier data is accurately maintained and operational processes run smoothly across internal systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of fulfilment activities for an assigned supplier category, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all processes
- Provide key documentation and information to support inbound purchase orders, including:
- Import clearance coordination
- Management of manufacturing order tolerances
- Supporting supplier payments in line with agreed terms
- Plan, schedule and coordinate inbound container shipments with suppliers and 3PL warehouse partners
- Forecast replenishment requirements for 3PL locations based on historical demand trends and upcoming business activity
- Generate reporting and trend analysis to support inventory planning and operational decision-making
- Raise and manage purchase orders in line with departmental targets and system-driven requirements
- Ensure timely supplier acknowledgement of purchase orders, challenging discrepancies and escalating issues where required
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across business systems, communicating any changes to relevant stakeholders
- Monitor purchase order progress and proactively expedite deliveries to maintain high service levels
- Manage supplier non-conformance reports (NCRs), ensuring issues are recorded, investigated and resolved promptly
- Track and report on supplier and product performance, including ensuring all applicable rebates are captured
- Prepare data, insights and reports to support supplier reviews and commercial negotiations
- Support wider team activities and undertake additional duties as required
Required Background & Experience
- Previous experience within supply chain, logistics or warehouse/distribution environments
- Experience working with multiple systems, ideally including warehouse management and ERP systems
- Strong background in data management, reporting and analysis
- Experience managing relationships with multiple suppliers and third-party logistics providers

- Strong analytical capability, with experience in forecasting and data-driven decision making
- Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate and manage complex data sets
- Highly detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy across supply chain processes
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across suppliers and internal stakeholders
