Location: Hull & Surrounding Areas
Salary: 50,000 Basic + Car Allowance

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Heating Manager to join a growing and well-established building services organisation covering Hull and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with strong leadership and operational management experience. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day delivery of commercial heating service, maintenance and reactive works, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, compliance, and operational performance. I would also be interested in senior commercial gas engineers looking to take the step up.
You will lead a team of engineers, coordinate service delivery, manage client relationships and drive business performance across multiple commercial contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the commercial heating service department.
- Lead, motivate and support a team of commercial gas and heating engineers.
- Plan and coordinate scheduled maintenance, servicing and reactive breakdown works.
- Ensure all works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with industry regulations and company standards.
- Monitor engineer productivity, Utilisation and performance.
- Conduct regular toolbox talks, performance reviews and technical support sessions.
Essential
- Previous experience managing commercial heating, gas or building services operations.
- Strong technical understanding of commercial heating systems and plant equipment.
- Experience leading field-based engineering teams.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Strong customer service and client relationship management experience.
Desirable
- Commercial Gas qualifications (current or previously held).
- Experience within FM, M&E, HVAC or Building Services sectors.
