Management Accountant

As a Management Accountant in the leisure industry, you will be joining a growing business in the area and support the Finance Manager from their office in Ilkeston.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is currently an Assistant Accountant or an Accounts Assistant (who has experience in supporting with Management Accounts) and looking for a step up as a Management Accountant.

This is a permanent opprtunity in Ilkeston, paying up to 40,000.

Description

• Prepare and manage financial reports, budgets and forecasts.
• Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations.
• Monitor and control costs to ensure financial efficiency.
• Support the preparation of statutory accounts and compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial planning.
• Maintain and improve financial systems and processes.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Provide financial advice and support to management as needed.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• A background in accounting or finance, with relevant qualifications.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Strong skills in financial systems and tools.
• The ability to work accurately and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Good communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.

Job Offer

• Salary between 35,000 and 40,000, dependent on the level of experience.
• Permanent position in Ilkeston.
