Cleaner - Full Time / Part Time

Hatched Recruitment Group are currently recruiting Cleaners on behalf of Belfast City Council for temporary positions within their Facilities Management team.

We are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals with previous cleaning experience to provide high-quality cleaning services across council premises in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a temporary role within a well-established public sector organisation.

We have both full-time and part-time positions available.

Location: 4-10 Linenhall Street, Belfast

Pay Rate: 13.45 per hour PAYE

Start Date: Monday 3rd August 2026

Duration: 12 weeks

Available Roles:

Full-Time Cleaner

• 37 hours per week

Part-Time Cleaner

• 16 hours per week
• Monday - Thursday: 5:00pm - 8:15pm
• Friday: 4:30pm - 7:30pm

Key Duties:

• Carry out general cleaning duties within council buildings
• Clean offices, corridors, toilets and communal areas
• Vacuum, sweep, mop and polish floors and surfaces
• Use cleaning equipment safely and correctly
• Ensure cleaning products and equipment are stored safely
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times
• Work independently and as part of a team

Essential Requirements:

• Previous cleaning experience is required
• Experience using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely
• Good understanding of health and safety practices
• Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
