Loadbay Operative

Location: Sittingbourne ME9 8
Shift Times: Monday to Friday must be flexible to work 06 00, 08 00 or 10 00
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

We are currently recruiting a Loadbay Operative to work within a chiller environment for our client in Sittingbourne. This is a physical, hands-on role involving the stacking and palletising of 10kg tubs of jam ready for dispatch.

• Working in a chilled loadbay environment
• Stacking, moving and palletising 10kg tubs of jam
• Preparing pallets for storage and distribution
• Checking, preparing and processing dispatch paperwork
• Using computer systems to support dispatch activities
• Following health & safety and manual handling procedures
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a chiller environment
• Computer literate and confident using basic computer systems for dispatch documentation
• Flexible to work rotating shift times of 06 00, 08 00 and 10 00
• Must have a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, as public transport is not suitable and the site location is not easily accessible

• £12.71 per hour
• Temp to Perm opportunity
• Monday to Friday no weekends
• Varying daytime shifts
• On-the-job training and support
