Sen Teaching Assistant

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for new opportunities in Sandwell?

Winner Education are seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a SEN school based in the Oldbury area. This role will start from September on a long-term placement and will be full time. The successful applicant will have previous SEN experience, and experience in working with KS3,4 and 5 age groups.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support to pupils with severe SEN requirements
• Assist the main class teacher in lesson preparation and delivering phonics
• Tailor learning materials to the requirement of individual learners
• Assist with pupil progress reports
• Liaise with outside agencies when required

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

• Previous SEN experience
• Strong resilience and patience
• A minimum Level 3 TA qualification
• Used various communication methods
• A strong understanding of Autism and Complex needs
