Working week: Monday to Friday 9:30 - 5:30 (with the occasional Saturday and evenings for events in which you will receive time in lieu for)
Contract: Ongoing with a possibility to go permanent
Location: Edinburgh City Centre
Salary: 15.11 per hour

Our client is seeking a proactive and customer focused Temporary Customer Experience Team Leader to lead their front facing team and oversee the day to day operation of a busy customer lounge environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced supervisor or team leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, developing people, and creating a welcoming and engaging experience for customers and stakeholders alike.

The Role
As Customer Experience Team Leader you will lead, motivate and support a team responsible for delivering outstanding customer experiences while promoting the organisation's products and services. You'll oversee daily operations, coordinate staffing and workloads, support lead generation activities, and help drive engagement through events and customer initiatives.

The role also involves coordinating customer events and identifying ways to increase visitor engagement and footfall within the lounge environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of customer facing colleagues
• Manage staff rotas and ensure appropriate daily coverage
• Deliver and maintain exceptional customer service standards
• Support lead generation opportunities and promote relevant products and services
• Coordinate and oversee customer events and engagement activities
• Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the lounge environment
• Manage stock control, maintenance requests and general facilities requirements
• Coordinate schedules with external partners and stakeholders
• Support continuous improvement and streamlined working practices
• Work collaboratively with wider teams across the business

About You

We're looking for someone who can lead by example and bring a positive, solution-focused approach to their work.

You will have:

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
• Experience in a customer facing environment
• Strong organisational and planning skills
• Excellent communication and relationship building abilities
• Confidence promoting services and identifying customer needs
• Good Microsoft Office skills
• A proactive and adaptable approach
• Property sector experience would be advantageous but is not essential
• Experience generating leads or referrals would be beneficial
