Key Responsibilities • Manage and develop a portfolio of strategic Key Accounts within the Wire Rope Division • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, buyers, engineers, and operational stakeholders • Increase customer spend, share of wallet, and profitability across assigned accounts • Develop and maintain structured Key Account Plans for all strategic customers • Conduct regular customer visits, account reviews, and business review meetings • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling products and services • Work closely with Internal Sales, Operations, Purchasing, and Leadership teams to support customer requirements • Support inbound customer enquiries and quotations during periods of high demand • Monitor customer performance, trends, risks, and opportunities using CRM and reporting tools • Manage and continuously review the divisional Key Account portfolio • Identify emerging customers with strategic growth potential and develop progression plans • Maintain accurate forecasts, account plans, and customer records within CRM systems • Support contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and commercial agreements • Act as the voice of the customer internally to drive continuous improvement and service excellence Requires • Proven track record in Key Account Management, BD / Business Development or Strategic Sales • Strong background in technical sales - ideally within manufacturing, engineering, construction materials, safety or wire rope industries • Passionate, self-driven and ambitious - thrives in a performance-led culture What You Get c. £50K basic + performance related bonus (OTE £10-15K) + car allowance Includes: 25 days' holiday + bank holidays,Buy & Sell Holiday Scheme,Free on-site parking, Cycle to Work Scheme, Free Employee Assistance Programme, Regular social events. Monitoring shipments to customers when necessary and ensuring high levels of customer service. Reviewing and controlling stock levels for key accounts, ensuring sufficient inventory for contracts. Producing reports for senior managers. Making travel arrangements for senior managers and as required, for members of the commercial team. Does this sound like you: Fluency in English and French is essential. Proven experience in a commercial, sales support, or analytical role. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills (internal and external). Advanced Excel proficiency (e.g. pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas); Power BI or similar BI tools are highly desirable. Sound understanding of CRM and/or ERP systems and their functionalities.
