Job Description

Executive Assistant to the Director
Cambridge City Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day from home) Full-Time
37.5 hours per week
Salary range between 33,000 - 39,000

We're delighted to be partnering with a renowned organisation in Cambridge to recruit an experienced Executive Assistant to support its Director.

This is a highly visible role, ideal for a confident and proactive EA who enjoys building relationships, managing competing priorities, and acting as a trusted right-hand support to a busy and dynamic leader.

The Director's focus is increasingly centred on donor relations, philanthropy, advocacy and external engagement, making this a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can confidently navigate a diverse stakeholder landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complex diary and inbox management
  • Coordinating UK and international travel arrangements
  • Acting as an effective gatekeeper and trusted point of contact
  • Supporting donor engagement activities and relationship management
  • Organising meetings, events and logistics
  • Maintaining stakeholder and contact information through CRM systems


We're looking for:
  • Previous Executive Assistant experience supporting senior leaders
  • Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Confidence to challenge, influence and manage expectations when required
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building ability
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, SharePoint and CRM systems
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt within a complex organisation
