Our client is a growing and well-respected regional law firm with a strong presence across Greater Manchester. Known for providing a high-quality and client-focused conveyancing service, they are looking to appoint a Conveyancing Paralegal to support their busy Residential Property team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional seeking exposure to a broad range of conveyancing matters within a supportive and progressive environment.
The Role
As a Conveyancing Paralegal, you will work alongside experienced Conveyancers and Solicitors, assisting with residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting fee earners with a caseload of residential conveyancing matters
- Preparing contract packs and legal documentation
- Carrying out searches and reviewing search results
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and solicitors
- Managing post-completion matters, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
- Opening and closing files in accordance with compliance procedures
- Updating clients throughout the transaction process
- Handling general conveyancing administration and file management
About You
The successful candidate will possess:
- Previous experience within a Residential Conveyancing team
- At least 12 months' experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal, Legal Assistant or similar
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and client care abilities
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering high levels of service
- Experience using case management systems would be advantageous
