The role: Lead and grow Residential Property work across Bristol and Somerset Develop relationships with local agents, referrers and professional contacts Supervise and mentor junior lawyers within the team Manage your own varied residential conveyancing caseload Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and first registrations Maintain strong client relationships and deliver a high level of client care Play an active role in business development, networking and wider departmental strategy About you: Experienced Residential Property Solicitor or equivalent, ideally 5+ years' PQE Strong technical residential conveyancing experience Confident managing matters from instruction through to completion A genuine interest in business development and growing a department Comfortable supervising and developing junior team members Commercial, personable and confident building relationships Ambitious and looking for genuine long-term progression Able to work both autonomously and collaboratively What's on offer: Very competitive salary with annual salary reviews Hybrid working 33 days' annual leave + additional leave Monthly flexi-time allowance Clear career progression with scope towards future equity partnership Enhanced employer pension contributions Private medical insurance Annual flu vaccinations Corporate eye care scheme Supportive culture with a strong focus on work-life balance This would be a particularly good opportunity for an experienced Residential Property lawyer who enjoys the commercial side of their role and wants the autonomy to help shape and grow a department.
