Role Overview

• Deliver comprehensive care and emotional grounding to young residents across a shift pattern.
• De-escalate challenging situations using trauma-informed approaches and active listening.
• Accompany young people to appointments, educational placements, and outdoor pursuits across the region.
• Ensure detailed, accurate record-keeping in accordance with Scottish care regulations.
• Foster a therapeutic team environment designed to promote stability and healing.

Essential Requirements

• Prior professional experience in a residential facility supporting young people.
• PVG membership for working with vulnerable groups.
• SVQ Level 3 in Social Services (Children and Young People) preferred.
• Full UK driving licence (essential due to regional travel).
• Warm, adaptable personality with robust boundary-setting capabilities.
