Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Deputy Manager to join a small, therapeutic children's residential service in Southeast London. You'll play a key role in providing high-quality care and leadership to children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is committed to delivering trauma-informed, therapeutic care and helping young people achieve positive outcomes.
Key Details:Salary: up to £45,000 for an exceptional candidateHours: 40 hours per weekOvertime availableFull participation in the rota, including weekends, evenings, and bank holidaysShift patterns include:7:30am - 10:30pm (15-hour shift)7:30am - 3:30pm2:30pm - 10:30pm
About the Young People:
- EBD-focused service
- Children require a trauma-informed therapeutic approach
- Small homes with a maximum of 3 children, allowing for focused and meaningful support
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in a children's residential setting
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and Ofsted standards
- Passion for supporting vulnerable young people
- Leadership experience or readiness to step into a Deputy Manager role
