The BusinessWe are seeking a talented Accountant to join a growing organisation with a collaborative culture and a strong focus on operational excellence. This is an opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, providing financial guidance, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring high-quality financial reporting.The Role

• Producing monthly management accounts and supporting month-end processes
• Preparing journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities
• Delivering accurate financial and operational reporting
• Monitoring cash-related activities and payment processes
• Providing financial insight and challenge to non-finance stakeholders
• Attending management and review meetings to support commercial decision-making
• Contributing to continuous improvement across finance processes and reporting

BackgroundYou will ideally be professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), although experienced part-qualified candidates will also be considered.

• Strong management and financial accounting experience
• Experience of month-end close, budgeting and forecasting
• Excellent Excel and systems skills
• Confidence in partnering with senior stakeholders
• A proactive, analytical and commercially aware approach
• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a wider team
