Hours: 7.30am-5.30pm M-F
Contract: Permanent
Benefits: 25 days hols + bank holidays and plenty of overtime all paid at 1.5 X

HGV Technician opportunity

My client, a well-established fleet maintenance company with depots across the UK is actively seeing to employ an experienced and qualified HGV Technician to be based out of a depot in the Warrington area to work on a full-time permanent basis on the companies own fleet of vehicles. Excellent ongoing training and career progression opportunities as company are expanding.

HGV Technician duties

• Working in a purpose built, well equipped workshop, the successful HGV Mechanic will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle service, maintenance and repair
• You will be working on a modern fleet of commercial vehicles to include tractor units (DAF & IVECO), rigid commercial vehicles and some vans (predominantly Iveco and Merc Sprinter)

HGV Technician qualifications / Experience required

• In order to qualify for the role, the successful Technician will have industry recognised qualifications (NVQ or City & Guilds) in heavies or be time served
• You must have detailed experience as an HGV Technician and be familiar with modern commercial vehicles
• Beneficial if you hold an HGV Class 1 or 2 Licence
• Hold a full UK driving Licence
