Senior Assistant Accountant

Key responsibilities include:

• Ability to support accounts payable, receivable and supplier management processes
• Assisting with the preparation of VAT, corporation tax and other statutory returns
• Helping to improve finance systems and streamline transactional workflows
• Assisting with payroll processing, including data collation and benefits administration
• Responding promptly to internal finance queries and providing day-to-day support to the team

Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Accountant role:

• Previous experience in a similar level role
• Able to manage multiple priorities accurately and on time
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Proactive approach to problem-solving
• Excellent communication skills and process improvement focus
• Works effectively in fast-paced, high-volume environments
• Collaborates well across teams
