Front of House / Reception Cover - Sunderland

We're seeking a confident, professional, and welcoming Front of House Receptionist to provide temporary cover at a modern and vibrant business centre in Sunderland.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in customer-facing roles and takes pride in creating a positive first impression.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of reception and delivering excellent service to all visitors and tenants.

Location: Sunderland City Centre

Pay Rate: 13.45 per hour

Contract: Temporary

Dates: Monday 24th August - Wednesday 9th September. Further ad hoc dates may be required.

Hours: 8:30am - 5pm (1-hour unpaid lunch break each day)

Candidates who are available immediately are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors, clients, and staff with professionalism
• Handle incoming post and deliveries
• Maintain a tidy, presentable, and organised reception area
• Monitor visitor access and maintain safety procedures
• Manage calls, messages, and basic administrative duties

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
• A keen eye for detail and accuracy is essential.
