Job Description

As an Assistant Management Accountant in an industrial industry sector, you'll play a vital role in supporting the finance team with the day-to-day management of accounts. From preparing financial reports to assisting with budgeting, your work will help ensure the smooth financial running of the organisation.

Description

  • Prepare and analyse financial reports to support decision-making processes.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Manage accruals, prepayments and journal entries.
  • Produce Monthly Management Accounts.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Support the preparation of month-end and year-end accounts.
  • Liaise with internal teams to provide financial insights and analysis.
  • Help monitor and manage expenditure against budget allocations.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Profile

A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

  • AAT / CIMA/ ACCA Part Qualified
  • Experience working with financial systems and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

Job Offer

  • Salary dependent on the level of experience, ranging from £30,000 to £40,000.
