Class 2 HGV Multidrop Driver
Hours: Monday to Friday, typically 8:00am - 5:00pm Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 HGV Multidrop Driver to join a well-established and growing business.
This is a Monday to Friday position with no weekend work, delivering to customers across the Cambridge area. Drivers can expect approximately 8-10 drops per day, with routes planned efficiently to ensure a smooth working day. While shifts are scheduled between 8:00am and 5:00pm, experienced drivers often complete their routes sooner while still receiving a guaranteed 10-hour day's pay.
Responsibilities
- Complete 8-10 deliveries per day across Cambridge and surrounding areas
- Conduct vehicle checks and ensure roadworthiness before each shift
- Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and professionally
- Maintain excellent customer service standards
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately
Requirements
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous multidrop driving experience preferred
- Good geographical knowledge of Cambridge and surrounding areas
- Reliable, professional and customer-focused attitude
