Working Pattern: 4 days per week in the office, via Umbrella Company

Our client, a leading player in the financial services sector, is seeking a Custody Operating Model Lead to spearhead the development of an end-to-end custody operating cash model tailored specifically for the Saudi markets. This dynamic role is perfect for a seasoned professional looking to make a significant impact in a temporary yet crucial position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop and document the custody operating cash model across various markets.
• Conduct thorough current-state assessments to identify business, operational, and regulatory gaps.
• Facilitate engaging requirements workshops with stakeholders across Product, Operations, Technology, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Finance, and Client Service.
• Define target-state processes, establish controls, clarify roles, and document operating procedures.
• Gather and document Saudi cash market requirements, ensuring compliance with EDAA, Tadawul, and other regulatory obligations.
• Produce detailed process maps, requirements documentation, and RACI models to guide implementation.
• Support implementation planning, governance, and readiness reviews to ensure seamless transition.
• Coordinate effectively with both internal stakeholders and external advisors to validate the operating model design.

Experience and Skills Required:

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Extensive experience within the Saudi capital markets and treasury operations.
• Proven expertise in operating model design, specifically within custody, asset servicing, or financial market infrastructure.
• A strong understanding of custody operations, including settlement, cash management, and asset servicing.
• A track record of delivering large-scale market entry, regulatory, or transformation programmes.
• The ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable business and operational capabilities.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
• Deep product management expertise complemented by outstanding leadership and influencing abilities.
• Strong business judgement, empowering informed decision-making.
