Location: WarringtonOrganisation: Housing AssociationHours: 9am - 3pm Monday to Friday (Temporary for next 2 weeks) Could be extended Hourly Rate £13.00 - (weekly paid)
About the Role
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Catering Assistant to join the team at a busy Housing Association facility in Warrington. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing excellent customer service, and has an interest in food preparation.
As a Catering Assistant, you will help deliver a high-quality catering service for residents, visitors, and staff, ensuring meals are prepared and served in a safe, welcoming, and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the preparation of meals, snacks, and refreshments.
- Serving food and beverages to residents and customers in a courteous manner.
- Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen and dining areas.
- Supporting stock control and the storage of food supplies.
- Operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Providing outstanding customer service and responding positively to customer requests.
- Following all food safety, health and safety, and company procedures.
- Assisting with setting up and clearing dining areas before and after service.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a positive and friendly attitude.
- Enjoys working as part of a team.
- Has previous experience in catering, hospitality, food service, or customer-facing roles (desirable but not essential).
- Understands the importance of food hygiene and customer care.
- Is organised, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Can communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and visitors.
