Sales Administrator
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per year (dependent on experience)
Location: Long Crendon, near Thame (HP18)
Hours: 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, plus Saturday mornings during winter months on a rota basis.
About the Role
I am recruiting for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join my clients friendly and established team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous customer service, sales administration, or office-based administration experience to develop their career within a busy and supportive environment.
Reporting to the Business Support Manager, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service whilst supporting the sales process and day-to-day administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling customer enquiries and sales queries via telephone.
- Responding to customer emails and providing timely updates.
- Processing sales orders and group orders accurately.
- Maintaining and updating customer records on the internal database.
- Assisting customers who visit the site.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across departments to ensure a high level of customer service.
- Escalating and communicating any issues to management as appropriate.
- Supporting the smooth and efficient running of the business.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in customer service, sales administration, or office administration.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Confidence working in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving.
- Good computer literacy and administrative skills.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
